Installing Freeway Filters
Freeway filters and BioBlocks can be used independently or combined with Freeflush to prevent most urinal hygiene and waste pipe problems. Over twenty years' experience has proved that Freeway and BioBlocks will keep toilet facilities smelling fresh and prevent pipes blocking and the resultant flooding.
There are two models of Freeway: the BU2 (38mm) and BU4 (32mm). The products are otherwise identical; both have a fine perforated mesh which prevents even small pieces of material from passing though while providing the maximum surface area for drainage. Freeway is easily installed and replaces the grating traditionally found in the bottom of a urinal. Bioblocks can be quickly replaced by simply unscrewing the chrome cap, dropping a new Bioblock onto the centre stem (bolt) and replacing the cap. The holes in the mesh ensure that cleaners can see when the Bioblock needs replacing. Every Freeway is packaged with an initial six month supply of BioBlocks. Under normal conditions each block should last for about a month and can be changed as part of the cleaning routine. BioBlocks are available in bulk for ongoing replacement.
