Easyflush WC Flush Control Valve
Easyflush Flush & Fill no touch valve
The Easyflush no touch dual flush WC cistern valve promotes best practice in water economy and hygiene in domestic and commercial washrooms. Easyflush is two valves in one: a lift/drop valve which empties the cistern and a float valve which controls refilling. It also includes an integral overflow pipe to prevent flooding. The compact single-piece unit is firmly located over the outlet by a bayonet-type locking device to simplify installation or removal for servicing.
Sensor Operation
The Easyflush valve provides electronic flushing and filling of the WC. It is operated by the user bringing their hand close to an infrared sensor. The dual flush mode enables the user to select either a part or full flush by the length of time their hand is in front of the sensor. For part flush the hand is waved in front of the sensor for up to 1 second and for full flush over 1 second.
This is superior to traditional systems for both hygiene and ease of use, particularly for those with disabilities.
Easyflush is powered by 4 x 1.5V AA (LR6) batteries or a 5V DC mains adaptor which can be installed behind service panels. The battery option allows the Easyflush to be installed inside exposed cisterns.
Also available as an optional extra is a multi product mains power supply unit (PSU) to power up to 20 sensors from a single fused spur.Valve Operating Sequence
Hand movement in front of the sensor electrically activates the lift/drop valve in the sequence shown below.
If during cistern refill a user requests a flush, the Easyflush records the request and a full flush will be completed once the cistern has refilled.
Cistermiser concealed cistern - easy to fit
The cistern is supplied fully pre-installed with the Easyflush WC cistern valve: only connections to the water supply and pan need to be made. To install and commission there are four easy steps.
- Fasten the support bracket centrally on the wall or back panel.
- ‘Hook’ the back of the cistern over the bracket and connect outlet.
- 3 Mount the sensor through the panel or wall and fit the power source.
- 4 Connect the water supply and sensor leads.
Access to the cistern is gained by removing the front panel allowing the uniquely sloped lid to be withdrawn through the opening. This gives easy access to the valve and internal components in the unlikely event that this is required.
