BioBlocks are a modern, environmentallyfriendly way to prevent urinal blockages and reduce urinal water consumption. BioBlocks contain powerful biological cleaning agents, which prevent calcium urate and scale build-up in urinal traps and pipe-work, keeping them odour-free. Every time the urinal is used the BioBlock's biological agents mix with the urine, producing enzymes that stop the build-up of calcium urate and scale. This allows the installer to reduce the frequency of urinal flushing, saving water and keeping the washroom smelling fresh.
BioBlocks do not contain paradichlorobenzene so they are safer to use and store unlike conventional pDCB blocks. This is especially important where children or the disabled may come into contact with cleaning agents. BioBlocks are suitable for use in all types of urinals, stainless steel, porcelain and ceramic troughs. BioBlocks contain a selection of non-pathogenic (harmless) micro-organisms, a blend of cleaning and water-softening agents and a special odour-blocking perfume and colour.
