The user interface is a stainless steel encased piezo touch button which is fixed flush with the mounting surface. When touched, the button causes an electronically operated valve to open, allowing water to flow from a hand basin spout or showerhead or the flushing of a WC or urinal.
The flow duration for each outlet is programmed on installation. If the user touches the button for a second time, within the programmed flow period, water flow is stopped at once.
There are no moving parts within the piezo touch button. The buttons are hard-wired to the AV six channel controller, which then passes the signal onto the appropriate ]outlet – WC, tap, shower or urinal. Each unit can control up to six valves and each piezo touch button controls one outlet.
Touch buttons, basin spouts and shower heads are made from robust yet stylish 316L stainless steel. For added security they feature anti-rotation washers and pins to ensure they cannot be dismantled by users, used for self-harm or to inflict harm on others. Specially contoured anti-ligature versions of shower and basin outlets are available for use in locations where self-harm is a real concern.
Stylish The Novaspout is a no touch panel mounted basin spout. It is activated when a user’s hands are presented to the infrared sensor which is positioned below the spout. The deck mounted Novatap is also fully automatic. Periodic hygiene rinses reduce the risk of microbial contamination such as legionella.
Water Efficient The Novaspout and Novatap automatically switch off 2 seconds after the user’s hands are moved away, therefore eliminating the risk of wasting water. The anti-vandal feature closes the taps after 60 seconds of continuous. This is helpful if, for example, chewing gum is placed over the sensor.
User Friendly The Easyflush ‘wave’ and ‘walkaway’ valves provide no touch flushing and filling of the WC. The ‘wave’ is operated by the user passing their hand in front of the sensor while the ‘walkaway’ is automatically activated when the user stands up or leaves the cubicle. The risk of smells associated with residue in WCs is therefore eliminated.
Efficient The Easyflush valves include programmable part and full flushes, therefore minimising the amount of water required.
User Friendly The Direct Flush valves provide intelligent automatic flushing of the individual urinal after use ensuring the highest level of hygiene from the minimum volume of water. The flush of water removes any waste immediately therefore eliminating the risk of undesirable smells.
Water Efficient Each flush only uses 0.5 litres of water and has been proven to reduce water usage despite flushing more frequently than traditional valves.
